Another original design developed to meet a customers exacting specification for an ultra low profile cooling fan duct. This design enables quick fitment to a standard 120mm fan using original screws allowing you to reduce heat and noise. Production of our low profile cooling fan duct ventilation adapter is only available in black PETG.

Fan shroud adapters allow you to exhaust heat from a room using standard 4 inch ventilation ducting. It is easy to fit fan shroud adapters to any standard 120mm cooling fan. Each fan shroud vent adapter has a lip on the hose connection side. Ease of installation is achieved with secure fitment of the ventilation ducting pipe being tie wrapped into place ensuring it will not slip off the shroud.

Each 3D printed low profile cooling fan duct is the strongest available, printed using PETG being several times tougher than PLA and PLA+. Parts are annealed, annealing plastic involves controlled reheating the plastic to a point above it’s glass transition temperature, but below melting temperature, and then allowing it to cool. Like the annealing of metal, this reheating and cooling increases the amount of crystalline structures in the plastic. Both of these things, in turn, makes the plastic stronger, stiffer and more resistant to the stresses that cause failure.

Designed to fit the standard 120mm fans using your original screws this will allow you to reduce heat and noise in the room your hardware is located. The large cooling fan duct pipe adapter allows you to easily exhaust heat out of the room using standard 6 inch (152mm) ducting. The shroud adapter can be used with any standard 120mm fan. This vent adapter has a lip on hose connection side, allowing for a safe and secure fitting of the vent ducting hose which can then be tie wrapped in place and will not slip or slide off the shroud.
