Another original design developed to meet a customers exacting specification for an ultra low profile Antminer cooling fan duct. Duct shrouds provide a proven track record for keeping crypto mining equipment temperatures low and as a result we now offer this version for sale. So this design enables quick fitment to a standard 120mm fan using original screws allowing you to reduce heat and noise. Production of our low profile Antminer cooling fan duct ventilation adapter is only in black PLA+.
Fan shroud adapters allow the Bitmain Antminer to exhaust heat out of the room using standard 4 inch ventilation ducting. Consequently a cooled miner equals better hash rates resulting in less hardware errors. It is easy to fit fan shroud adapters to any crypto currency miner which uses a standard 120mm cooling fan. Each fan shroud vent adapter has a lip on the hose connection side. Ease of installation is achieved with secure fitment of the ventilation ducting pipe being tie wrapped into place ensuring it will not slip off the shroud.
Each 3D printed low profile Antminer cooling fan duct is the strongest available, printed using PLA+ being several times tougher than PLA and PETG. Parts are annealed, annealing plastic involves controlled reheating the plastic to a point above it’s glass transition temperature, but below melting temperature, and then allowing it to cool. Like the annealing of metal, this reheating and cooling increases the amount of crystalline structures in the plastic. Both of these things, in turn, makes the plastic stronger, stiffer and more resistant to the stresses that cause failure.
